SWAN LIBRARY TRUSTEES
SPECIAL MEETING OF MARCH 28, 2008

Present:  Trustees Kevin Doherty, Lynne Philipps, Julie Miller, Terry-Lynn Corrigan, Judy Christopher,
Dona Scharping, Mitzy Peglow, Fran Lissow,  Library Director Susan Rudnicky
Excused:  Dele Theodorakos, Pat Cammarata, Margaret Golden

President Kevin called the meeting to order at 5:15pm with a quorum.  The meeting was arranged by Kevin with the majority of members agreeing to the 5:15 time and date of March 28th, for the purpose of reviewing and approving the Gates Foundation Grant.

Motion to authorize the application for the Gates Foundation Grant was made by Dona, seconded by Terry-Lynn.  Approved   Yes-8  No-0

Resolved:  That the Library Board of the Swan Library approves the application for the Gates Hardware Initiative Grant.  The Library Board approves $650.00 in matching funds for the application to be paid out of gifts or grants to the Swan Library, and will not supplant local funds already dedicated for the library or technology projects.
