SWAN LIBRARY TRUSTEES
 SPECIAL MEETING OF MAY 15, 2007

The Special Meeting to discuss the planning survey was called to order by President Kevin at 6pm.

Ruth Andes and Carol Marriott were present to discuss the planning survey to be conducted by the library.

A mock up of the survey was presented.  Trustees reviewed each question and discussed the addition and elimination of questions.  Ruth and Carol will re-word the survey and get a completed document to Susan by the end of the week to be copied and distributed through the Pennysaver.

Lynne suggested to Susan and the trustees that some lead in articles be placed in the area newspapers, for individuals to be on the lookout for the survey and urge them to complete the survey. 

It was also suggested that the survey was being conducted by the board of trustees and therefore Kevin’s name should go on the letter introducing the survey rather than Susan’s.

Tabulating the survey results will be completed by students, and Kevin will identify the best way to accomplish this task.

OTHER ITEMS

Kevin distributed a service contract for us to review for our next meeting from Barkstrom and LaCroix for architectural fees for reviewing the Dale’s Building.
