Children's & Handicap Entrance Our wood carved owl greets you as you come into our Children's Department. Here you see our holiday books on left, children's videos on the right, and straight back our activity kits and parent collection.	Children's Craft Table & Fiction Novels Little fingers and big minds create here during " Crafting for fun night!" You will find many other daily activities happing here. Swan Library is a fantastic source for inspiration!	Picture Book Area Easily labeled and brightly colored illustrations our Children's picture book area is filled with many wonderful books for you and your little one to enjoy!	Non-Fiction Area Complete with table and chairs our Non-Fiction area will excite you with all sorts of animals, science, history, social studies and general knowledge.

Main Entrance and Lobby Our main stairwell located in back of photo.	Circulation Desk To the left you would find the elevator. The Genealogy table is to the left along with handmade crafts made by the FRIENDS of Swan Library. Behind the circulation desk you will find the new releases and the best sellers.	Display Cabinet Located in the lobby, local artisans, authors and collectors have displayed items for the community to view.	Microfilm Area Find that historic newspaper article from our local papers. Our top notch Reference Librarians will help you find what you need. Also in this photo are the books on tape and CD and music CDs.

Second Floor Stacks It is no exaggeration our books fill every inch of our books shelves. Take a look around ! We must have that book that you've been searching for.	Reference Area & Public Copier Our extended Reference Collection will help you with your research. Making copies at Swan Library is easy with our public copier and copies are still just ten cents!	Historic Courthouse Mural You really need to see this mural in person to truly enjoy the craftsmanship and beauty. Through a grant, local artist Heather Boyd painted several of Albion's proud and prominent architecture.	Local Churches Mural Continued Another photo of the Churches located here in Albion, skillfully painted in the Swan Library main stairwell.
Third Floor: Meeting Room & Computer Lab Also on this floor: Director's Office, Administrative Office, Periodical Room, Local History, Young Adult, Graphic Novels, & Civil War Collection

Meeting Room view 1 At the top of the main stairwell you will find our meeting room. This room spans the width of the building facing Route 98. We hold many programs, events, story times and board meetings in here.	Meeting Room view 2 In the opposite direction as the previous photo, the meeting room is equipped with piano, many tables, chairs, antique sofas and a 50" large screen television with DVD/VHS player.	Curtis Room - Civil War Collection Mr. William J. Curtis, Civil War history collector donated his extensive collection to the Swan Library. This room also serves as an administrative office.	A Library After Mr. Swan A portrait of Mr. William Swan proudly hung in the meeting room.

Periodical Room The periodical room adjoins the meeting room and contains a wide variety of magazines and local newspapers.	Young Adult & Graphic Novel Collection Tweens and Teens will enjoy our YA collection which includes novels, graphic novels and several book series. Also in this photo our magazine collection continued.
